2hrs into my first day on the mountain, my snowboarding trip was over in an instant. Just a friendly reminder to all the homies out there ripping, to let those warm up laps flow.. No rush getting into the risky business.

Every single lap was done with intent & focusing on the technique of turning the snowboard how they’re designed to be turned. By the end of last season my switch riding was almost as strong as the clips in this video.

As the seasons continue to change throughout the year, there has been one constant in my life lately.. & that is snowboarding. Once you get into it, you very quickly learn that it’s not just a hobby, it’s really a lifestyle. & it’s not just a sport, it’s truly an art form. Every rider unique in their own ways, naturally riding every piece of the terrain differently. You get into the history & learn about all of the absolute legends that have paved the way for this gift of a sport.. & you start to realize how special & how much of a spectacle being in the mountains snowboarding + skiing is.. it’s been the most beautiful & rewarding experience of my life. I recommend that everyone give it a shot & you will see for yourself.. Thank me later! 🙃🤙🏾

One of the most full circle moments for myself, next to working with Ice Cube back in like 2018.. Anybody that has known me really well for around 10-15yrs knows that I’ve been bumping Wiz & Curren$y long before Kush & OJ & Black & Yellow hit the streets. I’m talking Prince of the City, Star Power, How Fly, Flight School, Burn After Rolling…. The list goes on!… Wiz Khalifa, TDE, & Big Sean is all I bumped in ‘09/‘10 going into my freshman year of high school, the most formative years of a kid’s life. What a time… & I often go back to listen to those tapes all these years later & I still get the same feelings I got when hearing them for the first time! Arguably the most unique & versatile rap artist to ever touch the airwaves imo. Dude touched beats that most rap artists would run from & he absolutely bodied them effortlessly!
Wiz started a lot of the stuff that has become apart of the norm for an artist on their journey to mass notoriety. Live streaming(UStream), YouTube Vlogs(DayToday Tour Vlog series), (Vlogs did not exist before Wiz did it), Collective Branding/Marketing/Merchandise(Taylor Gang Or Die)… & let’s not act like Wiz didn’t inherently pioneer the legalization of medical marijuana in many of the U.S. states 10yrs ago!
So yes, this is a @wizkhalifa appreciation post! LOL I’m giving bruh his flowers because this is my opportunity to do so publicly. Dude taught me how to properly roll a joint via YouTube when I had no business smoking bud, so who else was going to teach me!? 🤣😭 TGOD BOIIIII!! 🤙🏾🐐

Sad to say that my season has officially come to an end 😭 so grateful for snowboarding & my first season riding literally could not have been any better! I far exceeded the things I thought I’d accomplish by the end of this season.. Let’s just say, I’ll have some real banger clips next season! Can’t wait for winter to come back around! Til’ then… Summer time so cold! 🥶🤌🏾
