YES! Just announced Wub Zero's debut in Boston at Sonia on Friday, May 8th!
This is the collab project of Chris Karns (from Pretty Lights live band) and Honeycomb.
Imagine taking a DMC world champion scratch legend, and combining it with the creative force of a multi-instrumentalist and world famous beatboxer - and you have Wub Zero.
Wub Zero has been taking the nation by storm with sold out performances recently at The Ogden, Secret Dreams, and Pretty Light's Yahn Dawn festival.
Joining the guys are Delish Music from Worcester, and SoBe from Burlington - both live bands bringing you fresh jam. hip-hop and live beats.
It's been years since Honeycomb has played in town and we're stoked to support this one!

It’s hard to overstate @ivylab ’s contribution to the evolution of bass music and our ‘scene’ at large over the better part of the past 15 years.
From their drum & bass origins, to their halftime and beats-era innovations, from 20/20 Global streams and dance-cyphers to the deep narrative world of Infinite Falling Ground - and everything in between and beyond - Ivy Lab has consistently approached the art of clubbing, texture, sound, and dance-floor mechanics with taste, precision, and finesse.
For the Rezinate crew, Ivy Lab has been foundational.
Not just as a project deeply woven into our personal lives - helping shape our ears and formative memories - but in our roles as promoters and curators, serving as a constant creative fixture in our bookings and season lineups over the years.
On Friday, April 17, we welcome them to the Middle East Downstairs one last time, as part of this closing chapter. We’ll of course be sending it off properly - on a massive HSD sound system! 🔊
