One of the most underrated riding skills is understanding the road. Most of us use motorcycles for daily commute, but very few take time to study the route itself.
Know the danger spots. Identify blind corners, reckless matatu stages, potholes, oil spills, pedestrian hotspots and areas where drivers make unpredictable moves. Familiarising yourself with these sections before they catch you off guard gives you an advantage to make decisions on the go.
