1 month post endometriosis surgery… and I’m somewhere between “healed” and “still figuring it out.”
The reality?
It’s not linear.
I’ve had moments where I felt like myself again — running, working, travelling, being social…
and moments that reminded me my body has been through something serious.
My first period post-op? Brutal.
Internally, I’m still healing.
But for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m moving forward instead of backwards.
This past month has been a mix of:
pain, relief, gratitude, frustration, growth… all at once.
And I think that’s the part people don’t always see.
Recovery isn’t just physical — it’s learning how to trust your body again, without fear.
