For it’s first Art Basel party, Rewind is teaming up with Alter. Shanghai, who organizes the wildest pop-up parties in, you guessed it, Shanghai. And because partying with fellow music-lovers shouldn’t break the bank, we’re making our party FREE until midnight but charging after, cause arriving late at a cool party should not be free of charge. This isn’t just any party—we’re taking over Faye’s Rooftop to create a unique experience that we’ll be sharing with the world. Sebastien Leger, live in action, surrounded by the city lights as we record his set and every angle. Drones and cameras will be capturing the 360-degree magic, Sebastien will be spinning right in the center of our specially designed boiler-room style setup. Introducing Emanuel Satie: Emanuel Satie, a Frankfurt-born DJ and producer, gained prominence in 2016 with an Ibiza DJ Awards “BestProducer” title. His career progressed with collaborations and releases on major labels culminating in his inclusion in the Cocoon family and the establishment of his own label, Scenarios. Since then his musical output has developed and matured and he’s now widely regarded as one of the scenes leading lights. He is a regular contributor on heavyweight labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Cocoon and Rebirth and he recently collaborated with Radio 1 legend Pete Tong . We are thrilled to bring Emanuel’s unique style to Hong Kong, where his compositions, rich in emotional resonance and structural complexity, merge traditional harmonies with synthesized sounds.
