That wall though 😱 @socal86cup at Chuckwalla on overheated rear tires got my cleaners working overtime on Monday morning.

Finally broke through the 2.08 barrier! Nothing fancy here. GT Radial SX2 from Racetreads, suspension from Shaftworks, brakes and fluids from Counterspace Garage, and less over driving. Where could I have been quicker?

A super fun day at @socal86cup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Snagged P1 in Street Class by some miracle. Mega thanks to @counterspacegarage @maxxistires and all my 86 friends who show up for these things!

Brake upgrade time on my 2008 Corvette Z06. The “only OEM” crowd will hate that I tossed the awful original cross drilled rotors for a brake setup that pulls down speed reliably without fade. Flushed the system with Endless RF650 high temperature brake fluid. The old fluid was dark brown and gross and faded under load. Thanks @counterspacegarage for the ongoing support in my New Balance journey!

The 2026 Toyota C-HR returns and it’s looking pretty sharp. The formula remains the same. 4 passenger CUV with a short wheelbase, and smaller second row. Its compact proportions hide a very useable cargo space. With the rear seats folded down you can carry a lot. I think this will do very well in Asia as well as Europe where smaller cars still dominate. As for North America, why not? It’s a solid EV platform that’s competitive on both price and features. Plus, it looks like nothing else on the road. In this world of cookie cutter monotony, it’s worth pointing out that Toyota is doing something unique when they often set the bar for “safe” design.
