May is such a gorgeous month to get married on the Isle of Skye! The unfurling of ferns... gamboling lambs... forest floors carpeted in bluebells... the May flower of Hawthorn coming into bloom... the scent of wild garlic... primrose... sea pinks... wood anemone... and stunning sunrises and sunsets.

Today I'm back at my desk... drafting a ceremony for a July couple... meeting another couple who've just enquired for a June ceremony... and holding someone else in one to one accompaniment.
As there are no photos from the desk days, I'm sharing a sunshiney photo of the broom from the other day.
It feels like it's been quite the week...
Of course, there have been the two beautiful weddings in the last 7 days, the joy of my work, the love, the magic, Beltane, the blessing of living on Skye, the beauty, the walks, the swims, the birdsong, the art, and the sunshine I've shared with you on socials.
And just like there are 'no photos from desk days', there are no photos from the non-sunshiney moments either... from all I've not written about this week... all which feels too raw, or which is not wholly mine to share... the difficult conversations, the rifts in relationships, the family death, the worry and self doubt, the painful feelings.
I'm not needing anything (at least I don't think I am 😘), just letting you know that all of this has been in my week too, in case you're wondering why your weeks can't be full of sunshine! No one's weeks can!
I've also been feeling the heaviness in the wider world of hatred, division, oppression, inequality, abuse, war, climate catastrophe, systems collapse. I sometimes share a little of that in my stories ... what hurts my heart... what brings me hope... as so often I find I don't have the words to express all that it raises in me.
So, if some of this resonates... here are just a few words...
May you feel held in love for all you face in life.
May you have light and hope for all that weighs heavy on your heart.

For the first time since I started holding elopements, my Summer Solstice isn't booked!
I often think the unexplained gaps in my diary make perfect sense... afterwards. Like I didn't know something was going to happen that would take me away from the island... or take me away from my work... but when the 'something' does happen, I'm grateful not to have a full diary.
It makes we wonder what June will bring 🤔💭
And so I'm just putting it out there (because when I do, the Universe often answers)...
If you want to elope or renew your vows... on the Isle of Skye... on the Summer Solstice this year... I'm here for it! There's still just enough time for a legal ceremony (so long as you don't need a marriage visa).
I have a few other spots still available in June too.
And trusting all is in Divine order... the Universe knows what's right... and if I'm not meant to have more ceremonies in June, I won't 😘
