In ancient Sanskrit, “Auris Mundi” means “The Ear of the World.” This name was chosen to express that profound sensation we experience through music, when we close our eyes and suddenly find ourselves traveling across places and eras, sometimes to lands we have never physically known. It is that invisible bridge between sound and soul, where rhythm becomes landscape and melody becomes memory. - Auris Mundi, is also the opening track of the EP, and sets the journey in motion. Rooted in pure psychedelic forest energy and infused with vibrant Balkan influences, this track invites you into a mystical feast of hypnotic rhythms. It is both celebration and ritual, a dance between ancient folklore and deep psychedelic exploration.
The second track, “Wabi Sabi” , transports the listener into the organized chaos of Japan. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection, this piece unfolds in intricate layers of tension and harmony. Like a sound paradox, structured yet wild, delicate and powerful. Guiding you through a landscape where disorder becomes art. Closing the EP, Modus Lusitanos is a heartfelt tribute to our Portuguese roots. With subtle yet deep references to Fado, the traditional music of Portugal, this track blends saudade with psychedelic depth. It is both nostalgic and forward-moving, a magical blend between heritage and the future, between longing and transcendence.
