March Madness will be up on the screens 🤝
The friggin “Big Game” 🏈 is coming up folks and we’ve got some awesome food partners and a BRAND NEW BEER coming out for it. Over in Hudson, @unity_in__flavor is putting their delicious take on game day grub with dumplings and wings in a bunch of tasty flavors 🍲 And at the Outpost, @_good_mood_foods_ is making her amazing comfort food 🥪
The beer is a really fun one we’ve been discussing for ages here and finally decided to let it rip. Introducing
✨ Return Lager ✨ an extremely easy going low ABV lager in 12oz cans. Yes it’s our first beer in 12oz cans, yes it’s incredibly easy to demolish a bunch of these, and yes in the year 2026 we are releasing our most affordable beer yet. At the Outpost we’ve got the draft flowing with pitcher specials and in Hudson we’ve got some cute little cans going and six-beer buckets!

After speaking with our staff we are staying open today. We stand in solidarity with all participating in the strike, and urge anyone who is spending today to do so at independently-owned local businesses, and to do so in cash. As always we offer a discount on cash purchases.
We’re horrified by ICE and the Federal Govt’s actions in Minnesota and around the country. We’ll be donating a portion of proceeds from the weekend to our friends @CCSMNY - they do excellent work, consider getting involved if you can.

Here’s to an incredible 2025 and an even better 2026. As the world seemingly falls to shit, we’ve done our best to build community at our taprooms, while creating creative and delicious beers from our very own brewhouse.
2025 marked what we think of as our first true year of operating the Return vision - a full brew team producing our beer in-house at our revitalized brewery in the Village of Catskill. We brewed dozens of new beers as well as a stable of classics, with some of our beers, like Polished and Westwhere, making it all the way around New York State and some, like Secret Spot, being made with ingredients just a few miles away and never leaving our taproom. The team has grown to twelve, as we’ve added some incredible people to take on various responsibilities over the past year.
We’ve partnered with a number of local food vendors to help them showcase their creativity and keep our patrons fed, and we even launched our tasty little small bites program at the Outpost (with probably the world’s best pretzel).
We’ve got a lot more in store for 2026 - (no new taprooms or anything crazy like that!) - just lots of great times and delicious beers. And maybe a chess club. 🍻
