April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and at Returning Veterans Project (RVP), we pause to recognize something we see every day: healing happens because people show up.
Whether you’ve received care, referred someone in need, or supported our mission in other ways, you are part of a community built on connection, trust, and service. At the heart of that community are our Volunteer Providers; dedicated professionals who donate their time and expertise to ensure Veterans, Service Members, and their families receive free, no-cost care when they need it most.
Because of this collective effort, the impact in 2025 was profound:
602 Veterans and family members served
3288 hours of care provided at no cost
A network of 154 Volunteer Providers and Clinics across Oregon and SW Washington
An estimated $450K in donated clinical services
These numbers represent something far more important than data, they reflect lives changed, resilience strengthened, and hope restored.
This month, we are proud to recognize our Volunteer Providers in meaningful ways:
New Continuing Education (CE) Opportunities
Small Gifts of Gratitude
Community Discounts & Partnerships
Volunteer Appreciation Month is not just about recognition, it’s about reflection. RVP exists because of a shared belief that those who have served deserve access to compassionate, high-quality care without barriers.
To our Volunteer Providers: THANK YOU for your skill, your generosity, and your commitment.
To our Continuants: thank you for being part of this mission and helping us carry it forward.
With gratitude,
Team RVP
