I've been revisiting the @ikko.tech Mind One Pro now that the snap-in keyboard case has arrived!
The key press force required is greater than I'm used to, and the keycaps do not protrude very far from the webbing. I'm hoping it wears in after a break-in period 😆

T9 or QWERTY for a dumb phone?
I am not much of a dumb phone user as far as my daily driver device goes (though I do use Keyphone pictured here as my dedicated MP3 player and for journaling). I prefer something slightly more capable (@sidephonehq and @try.minimal Phone come to mind) at my current station of life, but I admit I could see that changing as time goes on. The older I get the less I enjoy the burden of constant connectivity from a smartphone.
But I am kind of curious, when it comes to dumbphones, do you lean more toward an all-display form factor (such as Light Phone), a device with a T9 keypad, or something with a full QWERTY keyboard and why?
Bonus question, how big of a factor is premium messaging (RCS, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) on whether you would or wouldn't use a dumb phone as your primary? Let's chat!

As most of you know, I am a huge fan of the @modretro Chromatic...but I am obsessed with this specific one.
I don't know what it is, but something about the @gamestop edition with swapped red A/B buttons puts a permanent smile on my face. I also went a bit Frankenstein and while swapping the buttons I replaced the entire circuit board with the one from my 2nd edition gorilla glass unit to get the best of both worlds.

Story time! I have been hanging on to a collection of NES games and accessories for years (it is the same one from the story about the $20 yard sale find from when I was a boy).
At some point I lost the console itself but held on to the remainder of the collection. Thankfully I finally found a replacement (original Nintendo version!).
Huge thank you to my town's new vintage/retro shop @misfitstoysyndicate for having it in their shop! I have been on the look out for one for years and am happy to finally be able to introduce my kids to gaming the same way I was 😎

On Thursday I ordered some new GB/Chromatic games from @modretro and part of the order already arrived! Outside of different Mario games, I never really tried many platformers in 8-Bit so I'm excited to give these a whirl.
