Five years in, the brand was ready for an update. Retry Studio evolved the car symbol, redesigned the wordmark, and built a layout system around DeMuro’s signature “THIS!” — the opening line of every video, turned into a brand headline.

Identity & Website for BONE X IKLECTIK
BONE X IKLECTIK is an independent festival for experimental electronic music and beyond. RETRY developed the visual identity and communication for the 3rd annual edition in Barcelona.
The graphics are inspired by the double-slit experiment from quantum mechanics, where wave interference creates a range of patterns when two energy sources interact. It became the metaphor for the festival’s mission: creating space for bold experimental artists and collaborations between communities from Catalonia and the UK.
This effect is translated into evolving, interactive space: custom @p5xjs code generates real-time wave simulation, while @readymag handles the website structure.

Designing with Code: The ASCII Engine
At the core of this identity for ton:acc is our custom-built ASCII generator—a tool that algorithmically transforms images into ASCII art based on predefined rules. This system ensures a cohesive, instantly recognizable visual style across all design assets while allowing on-the-fly generation of icons, illustrations, and image effects.
By leveraging ASCII, we embraced the ethos of Web3: open, code-driven, and infinitely adaptable. The result? A visual language that’s both raw and futuristic, reflecting the decentralized nature of the #TON ecosystem.
