It’s a 1976 Buick Electra. Sedan. Huge! What a nice chap he was too. According his friend, he has five 70’s YankTanks at home. Legend! And that sound system!!

A fabulous 60’s Chevrolet Impala. I probably see more Impalas than any other car, or model. I was told it’s because you can still buy all the parts, which would explain how they seem to survive more than the other models. Or is it because they are just cool cool cool 😎!

I’m obsessed with these old cars. I love seeing them outside the Motels. This is Roy’s Motel & Cafe in Amboy. A must R66 stop. Grab a coffee and a fridge magnet;) I believe the car is still there, although I think they move it time to time depending on what events are going on. Shame really, it makes the sign look better when it’s there doesn’t it? 🤣 I hope the Lincoln stays. It’s ace.

What a glorious day this was. This was a cool stop at Antares, just past Hackberry near Kingman on R66. This is the Antares Point Visitor Center/Gift Shop, next to the Giganticus Headicus and Art Studio. Why? No idea! Just another fab stop along R66 :) Some cooool cars here too. I think I posted the @cadillac Cadillac a few weeks back. Top stuff! Make sure you stop off at @antarespoint on the way to Kingman

This is ‘Gary’s Gay Parita’ 25 miles West of Springfield, Missouri. It was owned by Gary Tuner, who beautifully restored this iconic Gas Station in 2004 due to the original one being destroyed by fire. He sadly passed away in 2015. George runs it now. George is also a legend ;) People make the places right? This is a must stop if you’re on R66! From our travels in 2022.
