I always forget to take snaps of BTS for the socials. So, here are a few. In 2024 we laughed, we cried, and we ate a lot of continental breakfasts’, and I will tell you that hotel food makes home cooking that much better.
The best part of the kids being off from school is having extra help at the studio. From cleaning and taking out the trash to grip and stand ins, thanks boys!
From time to time I like to see where the AI models are in term of capabilities. It still has a way to go but every iteration brings a new level of convincing. Where are you in your AI journey and what does this mean for us as content producers and marketers? #ai
Finally decided to try DaVinci. Committed a pretty big project to it. So far so good! Love the interface and the layout. From Avid to Final Cut to Premiere this seems not bad at all.
For those that want to learn a little more about frame rate. These are the things that keep me up at night. Then I write them down as blog ideas and get to learn more for myself at the same time. Get ready for a deep dive!
From hand cranked film cameras to a power cycles and interlacing, frame rates are more than meets the eye. You could probably write two or three times than what I collected here.

At RetroMotion we have an open studio for people to check out our A.I. generated videos and prints. Depending on how you view it A.I. could impact our industry negatively or it’s could be a useful tool. Either way, it took roughly 8 hours of time to prompt the various AI tools to create a pretty interesting video that you can see here when you visit. Something like this would have taken days to create and a much larger budget.

A local science center is seeking a talented actor to portray the role of an outdoors ranger for an upcoming filming project. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with kids and inspire their love for nature and science.
•Portray the role of an outdoors ranger in a fun, engaging, and educational manner.
•Deliver scripted lines on camera with enthusiasm and confidence.

Requirements:
Experience in on-camera acting is preferred.
Experience with speaking on camera is highly valued.
A background in nature and science is a bonus, not required.
Excellent communication and improvisation skills.
Project Details:
Filming of three short 1-page scripts to be completed in one day.
Specific shoot date to be determined.
