Just some RK008 recorded #midi clips while testing out the Retrosound module. It’s an 8 part +/- 32 voice multitimbral module which has the yamaha #YM2149 PSG and Konami K051649 wavetable chip. It’s… a bit of a sound quest from our past 👴😅
For the synth world, we’ve made quite an unconventional ‘macro envelope’ setup in this module to finally try and merge the best of midi and #chiptunes - and I dare say it turns out to be pretty much fun to design sounds: on it’s own emulation - and applying the macro envelope system on external midi gear.
