We are still speechless and a little bit nostalgic about what happened last weekend. These incredible 2 days of arts, nature, energy and love were absolutely amazing, and it would not have been possible without the beautiful people who were there and danced until the lights of the sunrise. Thank you all! In particular, many thanks and love to each of the artists involved, the crew, the magic setting of @cascinacaremma and all the realities that made this real. We are delighted to announce the Sound Meditation activity that will take place this Sunday morning at 11.00, a moment of pleasure in an immersive, rural and wooded site. With the amazing work of @annalisa.franzi and the sound curation of @edera.collective , you can experience an occasion of deep awakening and rebirth. Dialoguing with the sounds of nature, music will follow the various phases of the practice to connect mind and body to the surrounding environment. After the Sound Meditation, a regenerating shared refreshment offered by @cascinacaremma will conclude the activity. It’s possible to participate in the activity only by buying the ‘Sound System - Camping - Workshop’ ticket or the ‘Sound Meditation’ ticket. The first ticket will allow you to live the full 2 days experience, including street food, the access to the market area, the Sound System night + camping and the Sound Meditation + refreshment after the activity. The second ticket instead will give you access to the market area on both days and will allow you to participate at the Sound Meditation + refreshment experience. Running the club night and monthly NTS show ‘re:lax’ with @reni_ldn , @laksaukmusic has been consistently pushing bass mutations since his early EPs on Beneath’s Mistry label. A Bristol bass bobbler at heart, his hybrid sound has found a home on many respected labels such as @ilian_tape and Whities, cementing his place amongst the latest UK talent. With three EPs now under his belt for Batu’s Timedance he is a key player in the label’s family, helping push forward its signature sound. Laksa’s DJ sets and radio shows efortlessly blur styles and genres with a UK rudeness. His work outside of music as a social worker helps him to provide those comfort blanket feels through sound as well, exemplifed in his lauded Blowing Up the Workshop podcast. With an EP lined up for another of the UK’s most respected underground labels in late 2020, Laksa continues to reach new heights. Enter @sputnik__one ’s world of bass psychedelia, where supple rhythmic workouts traverse tactile sound environments and sub-heavy club dynamics that has earned the artist, DJ and @n_nface label boss a coveted spot amongst the modern milieu of forward-thinking rave bearers. Sputnik One is the alias of French-born, Dublin-based producer Jim Richard. A devoted pupil of the Irish capital’s halcyon post-millenia clubbing era, he quickly became inspired to one day soundtrack those alchemic dancefloor moments he experienced. Forging his proceeding craft through years of experimentation resulted in a unique sound signified by his UK-indebted influences pushed through his outsider prism; tracks exploring patchworks of nimble percussion-led bass explorations that pirouette around deft sound sculptures and weighty subs. His music has gone on to more or less help define the current boundless clubbing landscape through an ever-evolving series of solo records for @wisdomteethuk , @wellstreet_records and his own imprint N-Face plus further compilation contributions and remixes along the way for labels @pressuredome , @gridrecords and @woozy_dub . Sputnik One’s DJ sets further his exploratory vision, showcasing the rich spectrum of vividly boundless club music on offer from his peers and beyond. Mixes for @truantsblog , @crackmagazine , @djmagofficial ’s Fresh Kicks series, a celebrated set for Berlin’s Hör Radio alongside Belfast grime MC EMBY and most significantly his current Rinse FM residency give evidence to this. 2022 saw the formation of N-Face, Sputnik One’s own imprint with distinct art direction and pro-collaborations agenda for ‘mid-brow’ dance music. Pushing weirdness within the confines of danceability, Jim felt like he could put his own spin on the label curation style and approach the mix of music, visuals and overall personality in a novel way, but specific to my outlook on production and taste.
