This has been one of my worst years as an artist. I had three terrible setbacks.
1. In February, shortly after my birthday, my phone was stolen, and I was completely cut off from communication for a few months.
2. A few months later, my Audio-Technica M40X headphones broke, and I had to send them in for repair.
3. My laptop started malfunctioning, and I almost lost it (it already happened to me once, and I almost quit producing). Luckily, I had a backup, so I was able to keep my projects going.
These might seem like minor things, but these were the blows that kept me quiet and silent for almost the entire year, so I chose to take things calmly and with a lot of patience.
What I mean is that I fell several times, but that doesn't stop me from rising again, and I assure you that I'll be back in 2026.
Maybe not with the same energy, but with enough ambition to keep going and continue with the RETCON project. I wish you happy holidays and see you soon.

It's going to be a long road to get things back to normal. This week or next, I'll buy new headphones since I've been working with AirPods these days, which is terrible.
the retcon project is on hiatus. Last February my phone was stolen, I lost a lot of data and now I have to restructure the project from scratch. Unfortunately my Audiotechnica M40x headphones broke. So I will take an indefinite time to recover my things and return more strongly to music, in the meantime I have 2 releases planned, today's and an EP, I think it is the only thing I will release this year.
2024 has been a year of ups and downs, from creating my first EP, rebranding my name (retcon10 -> RETCON), to being less active and completing only a few songs.
2025 will be a year of constant learning, improving my visuals, cover artwork, and everything in general.
The RETCON project will be reborn, stronger and more aggressive, to finally flow with the water.
At some point, I might move away from dubstep or combine it with other styles, but as long as my music retains its originality and essence, everything will be fine.
This year marked my debut on Spotify.
To my 2025 and 2026 self: take the time and care to finish your songs. Above all, make them resonate from the depths of your soul. Learn, socialize, study music theory, analyze, and most importantly, enjoy everything you do.
You’ve always wanted to sound like Skrillex or Marauda and other producers. Now it’s time to sound like yourself—like RETCON.
