Blazer transformation with a whimsical touch! With machine embroidery and patches. First step is to upsize the blazer. Adding panels to the sides and sleeves for more room. Like I did in the Chanel style jacket.
I found a skirt with matching checked pattern in the @thisisfreefashion shop. Perfect to give the blazer a second life with. The patches are forever in my stash, waiting for this day.
With one seam still open it is (relatively
😊) easy to machine embroider. So I'll be adding some more embroidery motives.

I’m so in love with my new T-shirt. I made it using a new @knipmode pattern during the incredibly fun stitchandchat sewing weekend. It was the perfect getaway filled with sewing, chatting, and pure creativity! 💖

Inspired by an RTW brand and than @restyle_studio_ came with the new Hot Fix Applicator. So let's talk about these rhinestones! To be honest... my mom ended up placing most of them for me using the new @restyle_studio_ Hot Fix applicator. 🤫 She definitely has more patience for it than I do! 😉 Both the stones and the tool are, of course, from ReStyle. New bag chains to play with today🥰. I just unpacked them and couldn't wait to try them out.

As for the shorter chains...I have a completely different idea. I'm thinking of turning it into shoulder straps for a top.
I've wanted to try this for ages, so I quickly made a mock-up to figure out which sewing pattern to look for and how to attach the chains. Your ideas are welcome!🙏

Lente! Ein-de-lijk! Oh wat heb ik er zin in! Heerlijke kleurtjes, luchtige outfits... Ik maakte er al even eentje... nou ja, even.... 3x scheepsrecht zullen we maar zeggen. Ik kon niet kiezen tussen welke kleuren ik ging gebruiken. Ik begon met roze, menn wat een gedrocht werd dat zeg! Leuk voor carnaval mam, zei m'n dochter. Nou ik denk dat je dan nog voor jan joker loopt.. dus die ligt nog in mijn kast om heel misschien nog af te maken en op vinted te knallen voor een hysterisch typje ofzo. Knalroze met ook zo'n zwart witte streep, dus roep maar als je intresse hebt 🤪 Stof 2 is fantastisch maar voor dit model broek waarschijnlijk te stijfjes. Die moet wachten op een ander model... maar toen zag ik dus dit geel en ohhh ik was verliefd! Heerlijk licht stofje.. de twijfel begon ergens wel hoor halverwege het maken, zou het niet te heftig zijn? Maar stug doorgezet en blij!!! Ik kon er ook nog een top uithalen. Dus met de mooie fournituren en het broek patroon van @restyle_studio_ + de stof en het patroon van de top van @hollandstoffenhuis kwam ik uit op deze set.
Ik heb een filmpje toegevoegd van het maakproces. Kunnen jullie eens zien hoe het er aan toe gaat zo achter dat naaimachientje voordat er zo'n outfit in de kast hangt.
