This Bristol-based outfit moves between folk, psych, and heavy distortion without warning. Expect sharp shifts, big dynamics, and a set that doesn’t sit still.
ESQUE
They made their debut at our Open Jam Night and stood out immediately. Since then, they’ve won our Battle of the Bands, secured a slot at Loud N Local, and stepped up to stages like Future Yard. Momentum is building fast, and this is a band worth catching early.

Alexander's Live hosts a night of post-punk, goth rock and reverb-soaked alternative music as Liverpool-based outfit The Nocturnal headline in Chester this June.
Blending dark 80s-inspired basslines with a modern post-punk edge, The Nocturnal have been making noise across Northern venues including Rough Trade Liverpool and Little Buildings Newcastle. Their upcoming debut album An Infinity Of What Should've Been explores loss, regret, bitterness and the lingering question of "what if?" through haunting melodies and sharp songwriting.
Support comes from Chester's own Red Seas - a self-produced four-piece mixing the reverb-heavy textures of 60s surf and garage rock with the grit of 90s alternative. Their deliberate lo-fi sound and debut single Soda Bath make them one of the North West's most promising emerging acts.
Expect driving basslines, dark melodies, shoegaze textures and alternative music till late.
