“This comic is truly a breath of fresh air.
To start, I think the main character, Jah, is perfect. He’s not super heroic or anything like that. He is just a relatable young adult and his mannerisms remind me of myself when I was his age. It gets me excited to see how he develops and changes throughout the story.
The script and overall tone of the story is pretty cool so far. I like how whats going on is very serious, but there is still a good amount of humor sprinkled in. It’s organic and doesn’t ruin the pacing at all.
Last thing I want to mention is the art. This comic looks amazing. The colors and lineart just work. However, my favorite part is how much effort is put in to the facial expressions. They are so exaggerated and I love it. It reminds of Boondocks.
Overall, I think any superhero fan would rock with this story. We love seeing a black super boy.”
