And then, every once in a while, life offers you a moment like this —
where memory doesn’t feel heavy, only beautiful.
Where presence arrives softly, without announcement, and stays beside you like it always belonged there.
Paused here longer than I planned to.
Some bonds don’t fade.
They simply learn new ways to exist.
Today, it found me here.
In art, in color, in stillness, in feeling.
And for a moment, everything felt beautifully familiar ❤️

From an evening that softly reminded me I’m still growing, still healing, and still needed here 😊

A retrospective that traces the path from institutional critique to a lasting cultural shift.
Featuring works by K. P. Krishnakumar, Prabhakaran, Karunakaran, and Valsaraj, and thoughtfully curated by K. M. Madhusudhanan. At durbarhallartgallery .
What made this visit truly special was the company. I was there with my dear friends Ankith — who shares a personal connection as the nephew of K. P. Krishnakumar — and Shajiyettan, a close friend of the artist.
Just a day before, Shajiyettan and I had gone for a walk, drifting through conversations on politics, music, food, and art. Somewhere in between, we spoke about this exhibition, about K. P. Krishnakumar, and the times they had shared. When Shajiyettan began recalling those moments, he was both excited and emotional at the same time — a reflection of how deeply he was connected to him and how profoundly he had been influenced.
I knew Ankith would cherish this connection, so I called him, and we decided to meet — along with one of his “Kitha mama’s” friends. Watching his quiet joy in discovering stories about someone so close to him was beautiful.
Grateful for moments like these — for friendships, for stories, and for the lives that continue to speak through art.

With Appupen @appupen and his wild, thought-provoking universe 🐸🎨✨ in ' Ambhibian Aesthetics ' presented by Aazhi Archives, Ishara House, and URU Art Harbour — where art feels like it’s breathing and shifting with us.
Standing in front of art that feels alive — where the frogman leaps between land and water, reality and imagination. A symbol of adapting, surviving, and flowing through changing worlds, just like we all do in our own ways.
From bold walls to deeper meanings, this moment is all about stories, transformation, and seeing the world a little differently — and honestly, just pure joy soaking it all in ✨❤️
