Researchers at MSVU have the chance to recruit international or returning Canadian students and postdoctoral researchers not affiliated with a Canadian Institution to Canada.
MSVU was allocated 1 PhD ($40,000 up to 3 years) and 1 PDF award ($70,000 up to 2 years).

South Africa’s National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) are partnering to launch an initiative that will support collaborative research in areas of mutual interest between South Africa and Canada.
For this funding opportunity, applicants based in Canada must partner with South African applicants and submit a joint application through the NRF’s application portal.
The value of the SSHRC grant for the Canadian teams is set at $100,000 over three years. Projects must address one of the following themes in the images above.

Mount Saint Vincent University's University Research Ethics Board (UREB) is seeking to add an additional Community Member to its membership. The UREB reviews the ethical acceptability of research involving humans or their data conducted by MSVU faculty, staff, and students.
To be a community member, you must be comfortable reading, writing and speaking English and be willing to learn and apply research ethics standards & best practices to MSVU research among others.
