As the country faces a growing shortage of skilled trades workers, programs like Requity are creating real pathways for young people to enter high-demand careers, earn a living wage, and avoid the burden of excessive student debt.

What started as a vision from Sterling Hardy has now become a reality in West Baltimore. Through this project, our students didn’t just learn — they built. They gained hands-on experience, developed real skills, and took meaningful steps toward success in their respective trades.
This ribbon cutting represents more than a finished home. It represents growth, access, and the power of investing in our youth.
We are incredibly grateful for every partner, supporter, and contributor who played a role in bringing Carver House to life. This was a true collective effort, and the impact will extend far beyond these walls.
