“EL ANDARIEGO” is a beer collaboration between @sanasanacerveza 🐸 and @requinto_phx 🐆 . The idea was to create a stout that’s inspired by the Mole Rojo from Guerrero. The result is an Imperial Guerrero Mole Stout that is delicious, balanced, drinkable and honors the Mole. 🍻 🇲🇽
The name “El Andariego” comes from one of my dad’s favorite songs. This is one of the songs that he played the night before he died and that was played in front of his casket the next. QEPD Heriberto Pineda, el Rey del Requinto. 🎸

Join us today at @lingerlongeraz from 11am-2pm for our Sunday brunch service. The chef’s special is a Chorizo and potato pambazo. @fortyfive_rpm and guest @sirsmeezy will be playing all vinyl sets. I’m solo in the kitchen today so thanks in advance for your patience 🙏🏽
As you may have heard, Bryan @senor_foodie suffered a stroke and is currently in the icu. He’s been a champion of so many small Mexican owned businesses, restaurants, bars and people. He consistently showed up to support folks and now it’s our turn to return the favor, donate what you can at the link in bio. 🙏🏽
Bryan came to the Brunch at Linger on the first day, in the first hour. I probably sold 8 plates that day and 25 all weekend. He posted a video and the next weekend we got ran over and sold out of absolutely everything. 😮💨

While doing the @requinto_phx brunches, I realized that there are a lot of ideas that I wouldn’t be able to fully develop or explore. @tololoche_phx is an attempt to develop these ideas and to learn more about my culture and food. Mexican food is more than just tacos and burritos and I’m excited to see where these ideas go! 🌽 🔥
The next @tololoche_phx dinner will be a collaboration with @kidsisterphx this Thursday night (5/14) at 5pm. The Kid Sister team and chef @isaac.m7 execute at a high level so we’re excited to be welcomed into their space! 🙏🏽

Huge thank you to Chef Erick at Requinto for the hospitality and for treating me to an unforgettable birthday brunch at the Linger Longer Lounge. When one Chef feeds another, it’s a different kind of love, and man, did he deliver.
From the perfectly seasoned pozole and those crispy flautas to that incrEDible chilaquiles skillet, every bite was a masterclass in flavor. If you haven’t visited this gem yet, you are missing out on some of the best soul-warming food in the city.
