North America works best when we work together.
At the North Capital Meridian Diplomacy Forum, I sat with my colleague @joaquincastrotx to discuss North American cooperation — from supply chains to national security. Our nation’s future is brighter when we prioritize collective progress across both borders.
No one in custody should be denied basic human dignity.
Every facility must follow federal standards but most importantly: humane treatment.
We will continue conducting oversight and pushing for improvements until we see change.
During National Police Week, I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank the officers who dedicate themselves every day to protecting our communities and ensuring our facilities remain safe and secure. Your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed.
Thank you for the long hours, the sacrifices you make, and the care you show while looking out for others. The work you do often happens behind the scenes, but it plays a vital role in creating a safe environment for everyone.
We truly appreciate your dedication, courage, and hard work.

Happy National Physical Fitness & Sports Month, TX-33! 🏃🏽♂️⚽
This month, I was proud to help launch the Congressional Youth Sports event in Washington, D.C., bringing together advocates, community leaders, and young athletes to celebrate the power of sports and physical activity.
Through the relaunch of the Congressional Caucus on Youth Sports and continued efforts to expand access to safe and affordable athletics, I remain committed to supporting the health, leadership, and well-being of young people across the country.

I was honored to attend Edward J. Briscoe Elementary’s FWISD Career Day and spend time with students as they explored a wide range of future career opportunities. Events like this are so important in helping our young people dream big, ask questions, and see what’s possible for their futures. Thank you to the educators and staff for creating such a meaningful experience for our students. #TX33
During National Small Business Week, we proudly celebrated the small businesses that are the heart of our communities. We were honored to present a Congressional Recognition to La Gran Plaza in Fort Worth for its outstanding contributions to local economic growth and opportunity, and to highlight small businesses such as El Minero Restaurant, Texical Artesanías, Alex Bridal, and Jobes Hat Store.
Your hard work, and dedication continue to strengthen our community every day right here in TX-33! #NationalSmallBusinessWeek #FortWorth #LaGranPlaza #TX33
