Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. Thank you to Hartford’s Jefferson Radiology for inviting me to see the latest technology in mammography, 3D Tomosynthesis. We approved legislation that encourages higher risk women to have breast cancer screenings, with the patient not having to pay a deductible or co-pay. The new law (Public Act 19-117) takes effect January 1, 2020.
