As the fall 2022 semester winds down, Reporting Texas students took time to reflect on their semester reporting and producing. We’re grateful for the learning and growth we experienced and for all the support from Dr. Kate, Professor Pearson and Robert! #hookem #utjournalism
They all worked SO hard this semester and I'm SO sad/happy to see them graduate on Saturday. Congrats Broadcast Capstone 2026 grads. Dr. Kate is SO proud of you!
The city of San Antonio is alive! 🪅
For longtime residents, the overlap of Fiesta and postseason basketball feels like a cultural reset, a reminder of how electric the city becomes when tradition and team spirit collide.
After years of waiting, San Antonio is celebrating more than just a festival; it’s celebrating a comeback.

Culinary Magazine @foodandwine just named Austin, TX the top U.S. city for coffee in the nation. The results came as a shock as they beat out known coffee cities like Seattle and NYC, but it was no shock to us. The magazine nodded to Austin’s sheer variety of cultural influences, creative drink options, and accompanying food choice which makes it one of the most vibrant coffee scenes in the country. They gave a special shout out to Klerje Coffee, El Tigre, Fleet Coffee, Flat Track Coffee and Leona Botanical Café & Bar. Do you agree?
