An action packed surf charter exploring the Banyak Islands aboard the Pulse Surf Charter with a crew of Ventura guys who made Indonesia feel a little closer to home. Funny running into people halfway across the world and realizing how many mutual friends and stories you share.
From Cobras to Treasure Island, to a few unnamed setups around Nias, the waves kept delivering and the energy on the boat stayed high the entire trip. Good surf, good people, plenty of laughs, and the kind of sessions that stick with you long after you leave.

Cape Solander went from chaos to perfection.
Day one: too big, too wild. Kip Caddy towed a few, Hayden Blair hit the reef head-first and ended up in hospital — back in the water the next morning. 🤯
Day two: the Cape switched on. 12–15ft slabs detonating on dry reef. Max McGuigan, Russ Bierke, Noa Deane, Harry Fisher — all threading mutant barrels.
After decades of looking at photos of this wave… I finally had my lens on it.
One of the heaviest swells of the season slammed into this notorious Aussie slab - and it did not disappoint.
