Honored to celebrate this year’s Women of the Year ✨
With everything happening in DC and around the world, it felt good to pause for a moment and recognize the women who consistently show up for our community in a real and impactful way.
Congratulations to all of our awardees, already looking forward to next year’s celebration.
During National Police Week, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who protect our communities every day. Thank you to the Santa Ana Police Department and police departments across Orange County for your dedication and commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe.
I spoke at the Psychedelic Federal Summit with Rep. General Jack Bergman about how science shows that psychedelics are delivering game-changing results to treat PTSD for veterans.
Meals on Wheels is an important lifeline for many seniors in Orange County. Thank you to all the volunteers who dedicate their time and compassion to serving our community.
On a daily basis, PTSD drives 20 to 40 veterans to take their own lives. Psychedelic therapies have shown tremendous success in helping veterans recover from PTSD and other mental health struggles, essentially curing them. That’s why its critical that we restore funding for VA medical research that supports the treatment of veterans’ battleground wounds.
I recently met with the California Trucking Association to discuss how Congress can better support the American trucking industry — strengthening our supply chains and making sure truckers have the tools they need to keep America moving.
Proud to meet with Santa Ana Police Chief Rodriguez. Every day, his officers put themselves in harm’s way to protect and serve our community.
Now one of our local police officers, a DACA recipient, faces the threat of deportation due to ongoing delays by USCIS in processing DACA renewals.
This is unacceptable.
No officer who has dedicated their life to protecting our communities should be forced to live in fear of deportation because of government inaction.
Great to meet with Santa Ana Police Chief Rodriguez during National Police Week.
Every day, the Chief and his officers put themselves on the line to protect Santa Ana families, safeguard our neighborhoods, and uphold the safety of our community. Grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to public service.
Our veterans put their lives on the line to defend our country, and far too many come home carrying invisible wounds. They deserve access to every effective resource available to help treat PTSD and support their recovery.
The science shows that psychedelics are delivering game-changing results. I urge my colleagues to join me in urging the FDA to review this innovative, evidence-based care for those who served our nation.
Today I joined my Young Congressional Leaders volunteering with Community Action Partnership of Orange County to support senior food security across Orange County!
We packed food boxes helping serve 25,500 low-income seniors monthly. Proud of these students for their commitment to service and leadership.
The bipartisan PATH Caucus is focused on finding the safest and most effective ways to utilize psychedelics to help our veterans and anyone struggling with PTSD.
