I was thankful to have my family by my side on the first day of the 118th Congress.
Thank you for allowing me to represent Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District in Washington for two more years!
I’ll never turn down country ham — especially when it benefits @tennesseeffa !
It was great seeing so many elected officials and community leaders showing up to support future leaders in Tennessee agriculture.
Here are some more photos from the 7th annual FFA Ham Breakfast:
The #TennesseeFFA State Officer team is in DC doing a great job representing their members & communicating the importance of agricultural education. It was my pleasure to take them on a White House tour & Capitol Dome tour.
Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife, Chelsea — the best mom to our two boys, Guy and Sam.
And to all the incredible mothers across Tennessee, thank you for everything you do. Wishing you a wonderful day!
Fentress County has always been special to my family. My mother’s forebearers were among its founders. Just like in it's earliest days, it's a special place because of the thoughtful, hardworking patriots who call it home.
Thank you to all those who made it out for our pancake breakfast town hall this week.
I’m blessed to represent Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District in Congress, solely because of those I get to serve.
I will never stop listening to those issues which keep you up at night. Even if we happen to disagree on an issue, I will always hear you out. That’s what I expect from my elected officials.
George Washington envisioned a citizen legislature, made up of Members of Congress who were accessible to those they represent. That’s been my goal since you first sent me to Washington – and I will continue to listen to you until the job is done.
Thank you to the good folks of Fentress County for coming out for a town hall this morning!

This week, I met the team at Hollister Inc. in Mt. Juliet, which makes specialty medical products that many Americans rely on every day. As a Member of Congress, I am committed to supporting policies that support industries like theirs – and the countless Tennesseans who go to work there every day.
The Drug Enforcement Administration under President Trump is working tirelessly to rid our communities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and many other deadly substances that have crossed our borders and have claimed countless young lives.
This week, I met with some of the scientists behind these efforts at the DEA Subregional Laboratory in Nashville. I can say firsthand, we are blessed to have so much expertise so close to home.
You don’t become one of the largest retailers in the world without the help of a talented workforce. This week, I had the chance to see some of that talent up close at the Walmart Academy in Hendersonville.
I’m thrilled to have them in the 6th district!
