We just getting started.
Last week we linked with @salomon@salomonrunning@salomonsportstyle to celebrate the grand opening of their new Upper West Side location with an early morning Gravel Community Run through Central Park.
When @rephstar ’s grandmother moved from Puerto Rico to New York, these were the same blocks she called home for nearly 60 years. Being able to bring the uptown running community together in a neighborhood that’s a part of our history made the whole experience come full circle.
We hit the gravel paths, tested out the new footwear, and closed the morning back at the store with food, coffee, giveaways, and limited-edition Circa ‘95 shoe charms.
Good people, good energy, and a reminder that it’s bigger than running.
Thank you for all the support. More soon.

Back like we never left. Last time we got to run the #rbcbrooklynhalf was in 2024. Since then, we’ve been performing on the course, but highkey it always feels like we running the race anyway. Big shout to @nyrr for the continued partnership, and good luck to everybody getting to it.
We’ll be rocking again with DJ @artbyjose at the Grand Army Plaza roundabout around mile 1.5 of the race. If you’re cheering, pull up for the vibes. If you’re running, let us know in the comments below so we can keep an eye out for you, and if you run by, holla at us. See you on the course.

I want to take a moment to celebrate something really special about this year’s OSR30: @rephstar and his dad, @runwithpops .
A lot has been acknowledged regarding the pure grit it took for Jose to complete this course at 76, and rightfully so. But to me, the really special thing is that Reph got to run it with his dad, and Jose got to run it with his son.
And they did not do it alone. @_mrmil riding for Jose and @j.m0ck riding for Reph were a huge part of this effort, and that support mattered.
Watching father and son take on the course together brought up a lot for me. I lost my dad in 2024, and seeing their bond out there hit me deeply. I found myself especially invested in their race, and watching Jose come up Orchard Street, with Reph there and their people still gathered to see him finish, was something I won’t forget. What made it even more powerful was the way our whole community showed up for them all day. It really felt like an entourage moving through the city with them, running or riding along, watching the livestream, willing them forward the entire way. @pattydukes also captured and documented the whole endeavor beautifully, and I’m grateful that effort was preserved the way it was.
Reph and Jose, I hope this race is unforgettable for you both, and that you’re back again in the future to create more memories and to continue to inspire all of us. You can do anything, Jose and Reph proved it. Absolute Legends.

19 sessions. No shortcuts.
Different crews, different paces, different ages but everybody showed up for the same reason: to work. We laughed. We struggled. We pushed. We locked in and somewhere in all of that… we all leveled up. PRs got hit. Confidence got built. But the most important thing was that people started seeing themselves different. This is what it is, the biggest indoor season we’ve ever had and that wasn’t an accident. Shoutout to @z2alwayschasing for keeping us fueled and the @armorynyc for giving us a place to turn blood sweat and tears into performance. But like all good things, this season has come to an end.
And from its ashes… outdoor season is born.
Starting Tuesday. April 7th. 6PM.
Riverbank State Park.
Don’t watch from the sidelines.
Pull up.

Reph and Jose ran their first marathon together at the 2022 New York City Marathon, when the latter was 73 years old.
The father-son duo has since run four of the World Marathon Majors side by side, with only Tokyo and London remaining to earn their six stars. But on Saturday, they’ll be dipping their toes past the 26.2-mile distance for the first time, and they decided there was no better race to do that in than the OSR30.
“It’s a New York thing,” Reph said. “We’ve been traveling a lot, we’ve been doing races all over the world together. But New York City was our first marathon together, and there was a reason for that, right? It’s because we’re from New York. So being back in New York and doing our first ultra, it’s kind of like an ode to the city….
“Inwood Park is a place where I grew up as a kid. I used to climb the caves on the side of that hill that we’re going to be going up to take the photograph [for checkpoint two] at eight years old, right?.... I went to elementary school in East Harlem, and we used to go across that bridge [for checkpoint one] in elementary school to do excursions. That was our wildlife excursion, was going to Randall’s Island.”
At 76 years old, Jose will be the race’s oldest ever competitor, though he hopes this isn’t the only time he’ll be making history.
“I hope you’re gonna interview us when I’m 100, and you’ll ask, ‘Oh, you’re doing this again,’ and you’ll remind me that I’m the oldest competitor in the race,” Jose said. “I’m looking forward to that.”

Good day to be in Harlem!!!
When @salomonrunning reached out to us to put this ensemble run together, they said they wanted to support uptown running by providing shoe trials, food, and drinks, all we had to do was bring the vibes.
So we did what we do.
We put together a dream team of pacers, locked in the venue, and of course took it through Central Park for a morning of running unlike any other.
Not gonna lie, there was some doubt in the days leading up to the run. The weather took a turn for the worse and we weren’t sure if people would pull up.
But pull up they did.
It’s always a pleasure bringing running to our hood, and we’re looking forward to activating uptown for many years to come.

Don’t stop believin’.
Came to Japan chasing 2:55. Left with a 3:03:53.
Not the result I sacrificed for, so this one stings a little. The marathon always asks for more, but I’m not sure what I have left to give it.
In my head I’m a 2:19 guy. Just gotta get my body to agree.
Still, it’s a BQ and the fastest marathon major I’ve run to date. I’ll take that. Maybe I’ll line up in Boston next year.
During the race I kept thinking about love, how much I love my family, my friends, my community, and myself… and how much love I get back from all of you. That’s the real fuel. Always run with love.
Japan is a beautiful country. This trip I finally made it out of Tokyo for a snowboarding side mission, spent nights partying with friends, drinking sake at my favorite brewery, shopping, and running through the city.
Looking forward to coming back next year and running this race with my dad @runwithpops and @pattydukes .
For now, it’s back to the drawing board.
Shoutout to everyone who pulled up and ran 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏾♂️ with us for the #Circa95Athletics x @salomonrunning Ensemble Run in Uptown NYC. Even with the cold and snow you showed up and showed out for these uptown miles and the big community energy. 🗽✨ Our mission has always been to make healthy living accessible to our hood and we are grateful to link up and build with @salomon to make this happen. This is just the beginning, so tap in because we got more runs, more culture, more activations on the way. 💫
Big thank you to our pacers for making sure everyone had someone to run with and @alkecafe for holding us down, the food and drink was top tier. ❤️

@Rephstar ’s birthday is this Wednesday, 🎂 1/21/2026 He’s also 5½ weeks out from the Tokyo Marathon. We talked about a snowboarding trip and a few other ideas, but he’s not trying to get hurt this close to race day so that’ll have to wait until next year. This year we will be celebrating the same way he’s been doing every day this training cycle: with a run. Pull up for a #WRUWednesday Run to celebrate 45 years on this planet and to many more.
