I’m hosting a telephone town hall on Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00pm EST! Join me to ask questions & learn more about what I’m doing to confront the challenges New Yorkers are facing.

I’m pleased to arrange free civil (non-criminal) legal services for constituents who cannot afford an attorney. This valuable assistance will be through New York Legal Assistance Group - NYLAG’s Mobile Legal Help Center which will be coming to my Northeast Queens Office on Monday, May 18th.
It’s Period Poverty Awareness Week.
Menstruation is normal—but access to essential products still isn’t.
That’s why I introduced the Menstrual Equity for All Act to expand access and affordability.
Periods are natural. Access should be too.
I will be holding another passport day for constituents who need to apply for or renew a passport. Pleased to partner with Senator Michael Gianaris, Assemblymember Steven Raga, and Council Member Julie Won in bringing this event to the Woodside Post Office on Saturday. I encourage local residents to take advantage of this easy and convenient service.
This week, I was proud to accept the Pericles award from Order of AHEPA.
The founders of AHEPA stood up to hate and fought for democracy. As the representative of a thriving Greek-American community in Queens, I am proud to continue supporting the US-Greece relationship and the strong people-to-people ties that form its foundation.
Stopped by Dancing Dreams in Queens—amazing to see kids in dance classes, teens stepping up as volunteers, and everyone getting the chance to perform.Dancing Dreams opens the door for children with medical or physical challenges to experience dance and shine on stage. Proud to see their impact growing across NYC and helping more kids chase their dreams.

Who inspires our CAPAC members this AANHPI Heritage Month?
From trailblazers to loved ones, our members are thinking of those who made sacrifices and helped pave the way for greater opportunity, representation, and success for AANHPI communities across our nation.
Proud to have secured over $3M in federal funding for Queens College! I recently visited to see the impact firsthand—expanding their tech incubator to support local entrepreneurs, launching a new nanofabrication research hub to help detect cancer cells, and building the first cybersecurity program right here in Queens.
Proud to celebrate United Federation of Teachers (UFT) and Council of School Supervisors & Administrators (CSA) members at my union appreciation event. Our educators and school leaders are the backbone of NYC, and I’ll keep fighting to ensure they have the support and benefits they deserve.
