Arizona had $2.8 billion in sober-living fraud.
A $1,500 accounting AI package could have found it immediately.
Paying fraudsters first and chasing them later is insane. Stop the money before it leaves.

This week we celebrate the bravery, strength, and courage exhibited each day by our nation’s police officers.
Thank you to all of the men and women who keep our communities safe through day and night. 🇺🇸 God bless you and your families.

During National Small Business Week, we celebrate the small businesses throughout AZ-01 that make up the backbone of our economy. This week, join me in thanking and recognizing all that our local small businesses do for our communities.
During my time in Congress, I have fought to make sure small business owners can spend more time serving customers, making payroll, hiring people, and growing their business instead of dealing with Washington’s paperwork.
In the Working Families Tax Cuts we passed last year, we locked in the 20% small business deduction for 514,000 Arizona small businesses. That helped stop a massive tax hike on Arizona small business owners and gave job creators more certainty to keep investing, hiring, and serving our communities.
Let Arizona’s small businesses build and hire without Washington standing in the way.
Something is wrong when the biggest job in New York is home care: 650,000 people.
Family members are getting paid for balancing checkbooks, groceries, and rides to the doctor. CMS has no way to know if it happened.
Medicaid is paying for fraud as much as medicine.
Today, we will borrow $88,000 every second.
Every second.
The way the law is written today, Social Security is six years from a 24% cut. Medicare’s trust fund is gone. Hospitals take a cut.
But we’re not supposed to say that out loud in an election year.
The math gets easier if we deal with it now.
We’ve turned healthcare into financial engineering, and the math is catching up.
In about six years, Medicare spending goes from $1 trillion to $2 trillion and the trust fund runs out. Washington would rather feed people simple answers than tell the truth about the math.
Thank you to everyone who created a piece of artwork for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition — your creativity is an integral part of our Arizona community. Congratulations to this year’s winners- Braydon, Savannah, and Samuel- for sharing their artistic talents!
Today, the House passed my bill, the Taxpayer Experience Improvement Act.
Taxpayers should not spend hours on hold with the IRS just to figure out the status of their refund or why they got a letter.
We all carry a supercomputer in our pocket. My bill directs the agency to finally use that technology, giving taxpayers private, secure access to their own information before they ever have to pick up the phone.
Taxpayers spend less time trapped on hold and get answers faster.
