The current PIAA playoff system isn’t just unfair – it subjects public school athletes to unreasonable physical risks by forcing them to play against larger, stronger private school teams that don’t face the same recruiting limitations.
Today, the House took a major step to protect our public school athletes by passing my bill that would allow the PIAA to create separate playoffs and championships for boundary and non-boundary schools.
