Rebuild Jamaica with Love 💚💛❤️
In Solidarity with the Rastafari Indigenous Village
Repaired Nations stands in solidarity with our family at the Rastafari Indigenous Village, who are leading grassroots relief efforts for communities across Jamaica impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
Homes, farms, and livelihoods have been washed away — yet the people remain steadfast, guided by the spirit of Rastafari livity, resilience, and love.
✨ The Rebuild Jamaica with Love: Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund, organized by Bella Prana Collective and Wellness Rebirth — is supporting:
Emergency supplies: food, water, clothing, hygiene essentials:
- Shelter and rebuilding materials
- Support for local farmers and herbalists who lost crops and tools
- Emotional and spiritual care for families in distress
Each contribution goes directly to trusted community members in Jamaica who are rebuilding from the roots up.
💛 Let’s move as one global family , giving, sharing, and standing together for our island kin.

Cooperative Land ☀️⛰️🌲🌊🍄🪶🌿
Buying land as a cooperative is more than a purchase. It is a pathway to power, security, and legacy.
•When communities buy land together, we
share the cost so no one carries the burden alone
•Create affordable housing and prevent displacement
•Protect land for future generations through collective stewardship
•Circulate wealth within the community instead of losing it to extractive systems
•Build spaces for wellness, culture, and healing that cannot be taken away
This is how we move from surviving to thriving. This is how we reclaim what was taken.

OAXXANDA is an earth-centered Cultural Cooperative Development Center — a dynamic community of artists, activists, makers, builders, and meditators, with a profound commitment to fostering intergenerational connections among East Oakland residents, amplifying healing journeys through prioritizing Black, Indigenous, and POC members.
Their journey began in 2019 when Repaired Nations launched the Pan African Solidarity Economy Network and birthed the Live/Work Cooperative now known as OAXXANDA. This vision materialized in May 2023 when they purchased their land in Berry Creek, CA — nestled within the serene, unceded Konkow territory, flourishing into a beacon of rejuvenation, learning, and sovereignty for our people.
The video above is an AI-generated vision of what’s possible. The foundation has been laid. The dream is already taking root.
Ten years of building infrastructure for visionaries like this. We are honored to walk alongside them.

Sometimes what we call “waking up” really starts with unlearning what we’ve been conditioned to accept.
In a system driven by profit, not health, we’re often pushed toward choices that don’t serve us, and it can take time, research, and intentional effort to retrain our thinking. From food systems to consumption habits, we begin to realize that many of our everyday choices are shaped by systems we didn’t design and weren’t meant to benefit us.
That realization can be uncomfortable, but it’s also empowering.
Collective Courage reminds us that awareness is only the first step. Collective action is what transforms communities.
When we begin to question what we consume and how systems operate, we open the door to building alternatives rooted in health, cooperation, and shared knowledge.
What does it look like to reclaim control over what we eat, buy, and support? Let’s keep unpacking it together. Share with us your thoughts.

Sometimes the truth hits you when you realize… we were already doing this. The shared homes, the pooled resources, the childcare, the food, the support, it wasn’t random, it was cooperation in action.
What many of us grew up in multiple families under one roof, everyone contributing, everyone supported—wasn’t just survival, it was a system rooted in love, resilience, and collective strength.
We just didn’t have the language for it at the time.
Collective Courage helps us name what we lived: cooperative economics was always a part of our culture. So the real question becomes, what happened?
Why did we move away from what worked? And how do we return to building together instead of struggling alone?
The blueprint is already in us, passed down through experience and memory.
Let’s revisit it, reclaim it, and rebuild from it.
What are your thoughts?

Chapter X : Solidarity, That's Trust Gots To Do With It, Gots To Do With It?, What's Culture, That's Not Getting Shown On T.V.
Ofcourse, that is a remix to a class song, What's Love Gots To Do With It, but the reasoning is the same,
We discussed Why it is "hard" or challenging for us to do what we all know which is what we need to do,
That is: Come Together
And what are some things we can start to Repair today that will help Restore us in the immediate and near futures.
TRUST * ACCOUNTABILITY * CULTURE
We must become crystal clear 💎 about what these terms mean to us and the actions around their application.
This is the end of the book 📖 club,
But the start of another chapter 😀 let's get it!
#repairednations #trust #cooperation
What does food sovereignty really mean and why did leaders like Fannie Lou Hamer see it as the foundation for true freedom?
Through the Freedom Farm Corporation, Hamer expanded civil rights beyond protest and into economic self-sufficiency, ensuring that Black communities could feed themselves, sustain themselves, and break cycles of poverty.
This is a powerful reminder that radical action isn’t always resistance—it’s building solutions that create independence. When people have control over their food, they begin to reclaim control over their lives.
Collective Courage shows us that cooperative economics has always been tied to survival, dignity, and liberation. The idea that food sovereignty + economic independence + political action = total independence challenges us to think differently about what freedom actually looks like.
Are we building systems that sustain us, or relying on ones that don’t?
Let’s unpack it together and learn from those who already laid the blueprint.
What are your thoughts?
