President Tinubu, May You Govern Nigeria Till 2031, By The Grace of God and The Votes of the Nigerian People

If You Plan To Spend 6 Months On The Job Preparing, It Means You Are Preparing For More Than One Term! A leader who is prepared to lead will tour Nigerian states BEFORE he is elected. He will not wait until AFTER he is elected to tour the country. You only have four years in a term. You can't prepare to be President while you are President. You have to plan before you become President so that when you do become President, you can hit the ground running. President Bola Tinubu visited EVERY state in Nigeria multiple times BEFORE he became President. A person who admits they would spend their first 180 days visiting Nigerian states is also conceding that they are not ready for the job they so desperately seek. When will you pick and swear in your cabinet, inaugurate the National Assembly, appoint your Service Chiefs and the National Security Council, as well as the Economic Management Team? At what point will you put in place management teams for the Central Bank of Nigeria, the NNPCL, and the NLNG, and ultimately reform the system? There is a reason Presidents all over the world mark the anniversary of their first 100 days in office: it sets the tone for the remaining days of the four-year term. To paraphrase the Lukumi-Yoruba, if you spend 180 days preparing for madness, then for how long will you be mad? The only logical conclusion is that you are planning to do more than one term of four years!

Lake Chad Basin Joint Military Operation: Thank You, President Tinubu, for Making Nigeria Safer! I commend His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, for the successful joint military operation between the gallant officers and men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces, in conjunction with US Forces, that led to the neutralisation of a globally most wanted t*rror kingpin and 1slam1c State leader, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, along with several of his lynchpins, in the Lake Chad Region. Mr. President, you have made Nigeria and the Sahel much safer through your leadership and the effective implementation of your directives by Nigeria's military leadership. Nigeria under this government has become a bastion for democracy, law and order, good governance, and the victory of good over ev1l. This is a reality that ought to be celebrated by all patriots. Therefore, I urge leaders, like Waziri Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Rotimi Amaechi, and others, to encourage and motivate our Armed Forces by acknowledging this significant feat, and extending the right hand of fellowship to the Tinubu administration as the Federal Government of Nigeria fulfils its Constitutional mandate of making Nigeria safe and great again. It is not in keeping with statesmanship to release copious statements and make denouncing utterances when t@rror1sts strike, thereby negatively affecting the morale of our troops and giving these marauders the oxygen of publicity, which they crave, yet go silent when our valiant soldiers deal mortal blows to these enemies of our country. We have no other nation but Nigeria, and we must all work in unison to ensure that Nigeria prevails over the forces of anarchy. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Reno Omokri

Thank God it is Jumu'ah. As-salamu alaykum to one and all. On this Jumu'ah, which is two weeks away from Eid-el-Kabir (Eid al-Adha), may Ar-Raqib (The Watchful) unlock every locked door of progress in our path, and open the doors of His mercies upon us. We pray that our Iman would be strengthened and lead to tangible blessings for us, our families, and our friends, even as we pray that Allah, Subḥānahu wa taʿālā, would accept our Ibadah. As we reflect on the life of the Prophet, may we learn lessons that soften our hearts with humility, increase our generosity, and guide our actions to reflect patience, kindness, and sincerity in our daily lives. On this day and every day, I urge us to pray for our dear beloved country, Nigeria, and its leaders that Almighty God grant them wisdom and the strength to steer the affairs of Nigeria aright, such that peaceful religious coexistence will result. May Almighty God continue to grant us sabr, taqwa, barakah, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence among us. Juma'at Mubarak

Femi Gbajabiamila: A Specimen of Loyalty, Gentility, and Competency Let us start by saying that we have both worked in the Presidency twice, and it is our informed opinion that hardly any Chief of Staff to the President has been as effective as Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila. From our experience and vantage points, what does effectiveness as a Chief of Staff to a President look like? The answer is that it involves managing the day-to-day affairs around the President and facilitating the executive function of the Commander-in-Chief, so that the Principal can focus on leadership rather than management. And over the last three years, this has been done brilliantly. Which, perhaps, explains why President Bola Tinubu publicly expressed his confidence in his Chief of Staff. Gbajabiamila has used access to process progress for the President, his party, and the nation. It is why multiple Governors from various parties, different geopolitical zones, and diverse cultural backgrounds have publicly testified to the efficacy and impact of the Chief of Staff. Let's take some samples: The Delta State Governor, the Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, himself a former Speaker, like Mr Gbajabiamila, described the CoS as a "seasoned administrator." The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, depicted the Chief of Staff to the President as a "patriot" who brought 'immense legal and political acumen to the Presidency.' While the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, a member of the opposition, portrayed him as an "exceptional administrator". In terms of organisational prowess, he is at a near-genius level. And this may have to do with his experience as Speaker of the House of Representatives for four years. And his impeccable people skills are why 2019-2023 was the most rancour-free period in the House of Representatives, and why 2023 to date is the ONLY period in Nigeria's Fourth Republic without Executive/Legislative tension.

People younger, richer, better looking, more famous, and even more powerful than you are dying every day. 50,000 people slept last night but did not wake up this morning. Let that shock you into considering how transient life is. Don't wait until you retire to enjoy your life. How do you even know you will live that long? Start now. Go to the beach. See a movie. Travel if you can afford it. If you can't, then visit loved ones. It could all be over in the twinkling of an eye. And that money you refuse to chop will be used to make small chop for people to come and chop at your funeral. #RenosNuggets

Dear Mr. Nwoko, Thank you for the great job you are doing documenting Nigerian history. However, Mr. Zanna Bukar Dipcharima was never Nigeria's acting Prime Minister. Under Nigeria's 1963 Republican Constitution, an acting Prime Minister is appointed by the cabinet and must be sworn in by the ceremonial President and Head of State. After the January 15, 1966 coup in which Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna m@rdered the Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, the rump of the Northern Peoples Congress met and decided that Mr. Dipcharima would be the acting Prime Minister. After they made that decision, they approached the then British High Commissioner in Lagos, Sir Francis Cumming-Bruce, to request military assistance from the British to quell the coup. However, the British High Commissioner, after seeking advice from Whitehall, London, said that such assistance would have to come from either the Prime Minister or an acting Prime Minister. At that point, even though the Northern Peoples Congress Ministers, as the senior party in the coalition, had chosen Zanar Dipcharima, the Minister of Transport, as the proposed acting Prime Minister, the junior partner, which was the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons, insisted that Ozumba Mbadiwe should be the acting Prime Minister. This astounded the NPC ministers for two reasons. Constitutionally and by historical precedent in other parliamentary democracies, it is always the party with the majority of seats that produces the Prime Minister. The second reason is that the coup by Emmanuel Ifeajuna and Chukwuma Nzeogwu was ostensibly about stemming corruption. The NPC members thus felt it would be absurd to then appoint Mbadiwe, who had just been ind1cted for massive c0rrupt10n in a front-page Daily Times exposé by Babatunde Jose, as acting Prime Minister. The NPC members could not reach an agreement with the NCNC, so they invited the then Attorney General of the Federation, Taslim Olawale Elias, who said the Constitution was on the NPC's side. (Concluded on my X and Facebook profiles).
