Tried the PicoSure Pro laser at @thethingswedo.co in their new West Hollywood location ✨
I’ve been wanting to try laser for sunspots + fine lines, but with melanated skin it’s not always straightforward. There’s a real risk of hyperpigmentation if it’s not done right.
PicoSure uses pressure instead of heat, making it a safer option while still targeting pigment and texture.
@nursecharlene__ made the whole experience feel really easy. Minimal downtime, a little redness after, but my skin was back to normal by the end of the day.
A few days later and my skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even 👀

Spent the afternoon at @lashify Studio getting a proper step by step on their lash system and I finally get it.
I’ve always been a little intimidated using these on myself and clients because I didn’t fully understand the application. Turns out it’s actually really simple and honestly feels easier than traditional lashes once you know what you’re doing.
Start with Pre Cleanse to remove any makeup or skincare from the lashes. Then go in with Whisper Light bonding and brush it through the underside of the lashes, focusing at the root and not all the way to the tip so things don’t clump. Let that set for about 60 seconds, then place the lashes starting from the outer corner and work your way in.
I used Rogue in 8, 10, and 12 for a soft, natural mascara look and loved how it came out. Finish by fusing everything together with the Cushion wand so it all blends seamlessly.
Please tell me these don’t look like my real lashes!!??!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
