Last year RenderATL had 8,000 people inside the conference, 15,000+ people across Atlanta Tech Week, over 215 events happening around the city, and honestly… the energy was hard to explain unless you were there. People flew in from all over the world. Engineers connected with companies they’d been dreaming about working for. Friends met online finally met in real life. People learned new skills during the day then ended the night dancing at RenderFEST. There were workshops, AI conversations, leadership sessions, rooftop kickoffs, community events across the city, and some of the biggest companies in tech all in Atlanta at the same time. And somehow… August 2026 is already shaping up to be even bigger. OpenJS. The AI Summit. RenderFEST. More workshops. More community. More of the people building what’s next. If you missed last year, don’t make the same mistake twice. Get your ticket at renderatl.com

A reminder that your RenderATL ticket is doing a LOT this year. OpenJS Foundation is officially bringing Node.js Interactive to RenderATL, and it’s included with every single ticket. That means access to conversations and sessions led by the developers and maintainers shaping the JavaScript ecosystem in real time. Not surface-level talks either. Real technical insight. Real infrastructure conversations. Real people building the tools the internet depends on. From backend systems to AI infrastructure to modern web apps, Node.js continues to sit at the center of how a lot of the world builds software. And this August, that community is pulling up to Atlanta. Get your ticket at renderatl.com

Jackie Chambers de Freitas is speaking at RenderATL. Everybody loves talking about innovation until it’s time to actually lead people through change. That’s the work Jackie does every day. She’s a VP at Salesforce leading AI delivery and transformation across a massive global organization, balancing speed, people, process, and the reality that change impacts actual humans, not just dashboards. What makes her perspective interesting is that it’s not all theory. She’s been in the middle of the hard conversations, the scaling problems, the executive rooms, and the team dynamics that come with transformation at this level. She’s also deeply invested in community here in Atlanta through Women in Agile, helping create more space for leadership that feels human. If you manage teams, want to lead better, or are trying to navigate constant change without burning everybody out, don’t miss this one. Get your ticket at renderatl.com

Most people leave RenderATL with more than just notes from sessions. They leave knowing how to walk into tech spaces with confidence. How to introduce themselves. How to network with intention. How to talk to companies. How to show up as themselves without feeling like they need to code switch or fit some “tech person” stereotype... That’s a big part of why RenderATL matters. Yes, you’ll learn. Yes, you’ll make connections. But you’ll also realize there’s space for you here exactly as you are. Get your ticket at renderatl.com

Okay real quick… if you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with RenderATL, this might actually be your thing. Ambassador applications are officially open through the end of the month, and honestly some of our favorite people in the community started this way. If you love tech, community, creating content, meeting people, sharing your experiences, or just talking about the things you’re learning/building… apply. We’re looking for people who genuinely care about the culture around tech, not just polished influencers. Ambassadors receive a complimentary ticket to RenderATL 2026, opportunities to connect with our team and partners throughout the year, and early access/priority notifications for RenderATL events. Jack Herrington is speaking at RenderATL. A lot of developers learned React, Next.js, or TypeScript from Jack before ever meeting him in person. His content feels less like someone lecturing you and more like somebody pulling a chair up next to you and explaining it in plain English. He’s a Principal Fullstack Developer, contributes to TanStack AI, hosts Frontend Fire, and somehow still manages to make deeply technical topics feel approachable. If you’ve ever paused one of his YouTube videos just to say “OH. That’s what that means.” Yeah. You should probably be in this session. Tickets at renderatl.com

Helen Hou-Sandí is speaking at RenderATL. She’s a Staff Engineering Manager at GitHub focused on accessibility, and one of five Lead Developers behind WordPress. She’s spent years in open source helping shape tools millions of people use every day, while also pushing for the web to be more accessible and usable for everyone. And before tech, she was a professional musician, which honestly makes a lot of sense once you hear her talk about building software. Her session is going to be especially good for engineers who care about thoughtful products, open source, and building for real people. Get your ticket at renderatl.com

“RenderATL isn’t where it is right now. It’s where it’s going to be.” One of our partners from Warner Bros. Discovery put into words what so many people experience when they come to RenderATL for the first time. The conversations, the technology, the people, the ideas… they push you to think beyond where the industry is today and start paying attention to where it’s headed next. That’s why so many engineers, builders, and leaders keep coming back. You’re not just learning what works now. You’re getting closer to what’s next. Get your tickets now: renderatl.com #RenderATL

Francesco Ciulla is speaking at RenderATL. If you’ve spent any time in developer communities online, there’s a good chance you’ve already come across his work. He’s a Developer Advocate at daily.dev, a Docker Captain, has interviewed 250+ developers, and has built a community of 200K+ followers by consistently creating content developers actually enjoy learning from. Before all of that, he contributed to the European Space Agency’s Copernicus project — which is a pretty incredible place to start. From Rust and DevOps to web and emerging tech, Francesco has a way of making technical conversations feel approachable, practical, and fun. Excited to have him in Atlanta for RenderATL.
