Believe it or not, even separate projects—sometimes from entirely different funding backgrounds—can complement each other and create meaningful added value.
Recently, ReMODE Partners laced up their travel shoes and gathered in Kajaani, Finland for the project’s second Transnational Partner Meeting. The meeting was hosted by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK), one of the project’s Finnish partners. KAMK is also involved in the Interreg NPA–funded international project Textile and Habiliment Reuse for Northern Periphery and Arctic (THREADs - Interreg NPA).
Why does this matter? Without THREADs, KAMK might not have developed the depth of knowledge and network they have today. In turn, that could have meant missed opportunities for ReMODE—such as the visit to a local leisurewear brand’s, R-Collection's, factory space. That visit offered partners a valuable glimpse into genuinely sustainable, locally produced fashion, sparking new ideas and fresh inspiration to carry forward in ReMODE.
This kind of synergy appears time and again: even experiences that seem unrelated can provide insights we carry into the future—for our own benefit and for others’.

Okulumuzun ortağı olduğu Erasmus+ CoVE destekli ReMODE – Unlocking Circular Fashion Design Excellence projesi kapsamında, 5-6 Mayıs 2026 tarihlerinde Finlandiya’nın Kajaani kentinde düzenlenen 2. Ulusötesi Ortak Toplantısı’na katıldık! 🧥♻️
Kajaani Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde gerçekleşen bu yoğun iki günlük buluşmada; Finlandiya, İtalya, Türkiye, Yunanistan ve Almanya’dan gelen ortaklarımızla bir araya gelerek tekstil sektörünün geleceğini şekillendirecek adımları tartıştık.
Neler Yaptık?
• 📍 Geleceğin Becerileri: Moda ve tekstil sektöründe dijitalleşme ve yeşil dönüşüm için gerekli olan yeni mesleki profilleri belirledik.
• 📍 Eğitimde Mükemmeliyet: Bölgesel mesleki eğitim (VET) ekosistemlerini güçlendirmek için stratejiler geliştirdik.
• 📍 Saha Ziyareti: Sürdürülebilir moda devi R-Collection’ı ziyaret ederek döngüsel tekstil uygulamalarını yerinde inceledik.

On 5–6 May 2026, the second Transnational Partner Meeting of the ReMODE – Unlocking Circular Fashion Design Excellence project was successfully held in Kajaani, Finland, hosted by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences 🇫🇮
The meeting brought together project partners from Finland, Italy, Türkiye, Greece and Germany, both on-site and online, to advance our shared mission of transforming the fashion and textile sector towards sustainability, circularity and digitalisation.
Over two intensive days, partners reviewed project progress and collaborated across key work packages, including:
🔸 Skills ecosystem mapping and occupational profiles for the future of fashion and textiles
🔸 Capacity building design and development of regional VET ecosystems
🔸 Progress on learning resources, quality assurance, dissemination and exploitation activities
The programme also featured an inspiring presentation on discarded textile composition studies in Finland and a site visit to the local sustainable fashion company R-Collection, offering valuable real-world insight into sustainable textile practices and regional industry collaboration.
Funded by the Erasmus+ CoVE programme, ReMODE is establishing five Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) across Europe to strengthen vocational education and equip professionals with the green and digital skills needed for the industry’s transition.

🇹🇷 Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi koordinatörlüğündeki REMODE COVE projemizin WP2 kapanış toplantısı başarıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Toplantıda ortaklar, WP2 kapsamındaki çıktıları paylaşmış ve elde edilen sonuçların WP3 ve WP4 çalışma paketlerine aktarım süreci ele alınmıştır.
Quantum holistics modelinin ilerleyişi ve tüm modellerin uzaktan yönetişim çerçevesinde birleştirilmesi, D2.6 deliverable’ı kapsamında anket sonuçları ile pedagojik yaklaşımların entegrasyonu ve rapor geliştirme süreci üzerine değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, Finlandiya’da gerçekleştirilecek bir sonraki toplantıda WP2 çıktılarının sadeleştirilmiş şekilde sunularak WP3 ve WP4’e geçişin desteklenmesi konusunda fikir birliğine varılmıştır.
🇬🇧 ENG: The WP2 closing meeting of the REMODE COVE project, coordinated by Bursa Uludağ University, has been successfully held. During the meeting, partners shared updates on their deliverables and discussed the transition of WP2 outcomes to Work Packages 3 and 4.
Key discussions included the progress of the quantum holistics model and its integration into a remote governance framework, as well as the development of Deliverable D2.6, combining survey results with pedagogical approaches. Feedback and refinement processes were also addressed. Furthermore, partners agreed on presenting simplified WP2 outcomes in the upcoming Finland meeting to facilitate the transition to WP3 and WP4, with a focus on pedagogy, personas, and curriculum design.
