Meet Ken & Gavin, two talented Remake volunteers who check and fix all of our donated sewing machines. Ken used to work at Singer and Gavin is self-taught! Both of them go to great lengths to make sure your second-hand machines are ready to go. 🥳
This means we get to:
- save many sewing machines from ending up in landfill
- AND make sure it is more affordable to start your sewing journey
- which helps MORE people being able to mend clothes and avoid fabrics ending up in landfill

Christine's class invites attendees to work on their own projects with support from her vast knowledge and experience.
We run a number of workshops and classes here at Remake throughout the year to teach mending and upcycling skills to our community.

We have a lovely glass table that a donor brought in her son's trailer all the way from Aberfeldy. It is very sylished with a burnished buffed metal stand/legs and then a qukairy heavy tempered glass top. Would look amazing in someone's home and we just can't find that someone 😃....
The lady paid several hundred pounds for this table at the time. It is a quality item.
We are selling it for £20!! I think that is less dosh than two tickets for those big comfy chairs at The Vue cinema.....
Suns out tonight and this would make a very stylish table under some shade in your sitooterie.... 🌟🍹
And the rug is for sale too of course 😉
