After this history lesson I truly feel GOGO has played a major part of the development of HipHop, I always say the DMV is the “land of musicians” But apart of me feel like GOGO bands was getting preyed on back in the day. Did we have our business straight as musicians in the DMV ?
I wonder did these certain bands get properly compensated thru all this sampling? I mean these were top records in Hip Hop at one point in time. We should at least have some millionaires in GoGo off Publishing. Or Do we already ?
