What if ten layers of glaze don’t work?
That thought crosses my mind more often than people might think.
Creating with porcelain means working with something that doesn’t always behave the way you expect. Layers shift. Colours change. Sometimes pieces don’t come out of the kiln the way you imagined.
But every now and then something happens that makes it all worth it.

Ten layers of glaze, slowly built up, each one adding something the previous layer couldn’t do alone.
A reminder that sometimes the things we’re unsure about often have the most beautiful outcomes.
