Project update: Renwil, Chateaugay – Closing of Walls
In just 40 working days, the full wall enclosure of this 110,000 sq. ft. industrial project
was completed, from the first steel column to the final insulated exterior wall panel.
All of it carried out in far from ideal conditions: heavy snow, freezing rain, and torrential
downpours. Despite this, the team’s momentum never slowed. Each phase followed the
next in tight succession: structure, enclosure and roofing- all executed with precision.
This kind of performance goes beyond speed. It’s the result of disciplined planning,
strong coordination, and a team that knows how to deliver, no matter the conditions.
We are proud of the work accomplished by the Reliance team and all partners involved.

En seulement 40 jours de travail, l’enveloppe complète de ce projet industriel de 110
000 pi² a été réalisée, de la première colonne d’acier jusqu’au dernier panneau isolé.
Le tout a été réalisé malgré des conditions difficiles: neige abondante, pluie verglaçante
et des fortes pluies. Malgré cela, l’avancement n’a pas été ralenti. Les étapes se sont
progressé rapidement: structure, fermeture de l’enveloppe, puis toiture - avec précision.
Ce résultat ne repose pas uniquement sur la rapidité. Il reflète une planification solide,
une bonne coordination et une équipe capable de livrer, peu importe les conditions.
Nous sommes fiers du travail accompli par l’équipe de Reliance et l’ensemble des
partenaires impliqués.

Hard hats off, hockey helmets on. Our Toronto and Montreal offices faced off in Montreal last Friday for a great game. Toronto may have taken the win, but the energy and team spirit from both sides stole the show.

Vendredi dernier, Reliance an mis de côté les casques de construction pour enfiler des casques de hockey. Nos bureaux de Toronto et de Montréal se sont retrouvés sur la glace à Montréal pour une excellente partie. Toronto a eu le dessus cette fois-ci, mais l’énergie sur la glace et l’esprit d’équipe des deux côtés ont fait de cette partie un vrai succès.
La soirée s’est poursuivie autour d’un souper chez @mckiernanmtl , où tout le monde a pu continuer à jaser, rire et profiter du moment ensemble.
Steel is rising, and Renwil’s new office and warehouse in Châteauguay is quickly taking shape. With the structure now well underway, we’re reaching a defining milestone that establishes the building’s full volume and reflects the strong momentum on site.
Next up: exterior walls and roofing — a critical step toward making the building watertight and ready for the next phase.
Once enclosed, we’ll move seamlessly into interior work, starting with mechanical rough-ins for fire protection, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Behind every high-performance company is a space built to perform.
Currently underway: The interior office fit-up for Solotech, transforming the space from the inside out to support modern workflows and growing teams.
The project includes a complete interior demolition, followed by the installation of new mechanical systems to meet today’s performance and safety standards. As the build progresses, the space is being refined with new wall and floor finishes, custom millwork, and new doors and frames, shaping a clean, functional, and contemporary office environment.
We are very excited to collaborate once again with Solotech, a repeat client of ours, after having successfully delivered their headquarters in 2025. We are also very proud to collaborate with GKC Architecture, who is the lead architect on this file. All mechanical designs were completed on a design build basis, using the expertise of our trades to develop a system that the client was happy with.

Présentement en cours : l’aménagement intérieur des bureaux de Solotech, transformant l’espace afin de soutenir des méthodes de travail modernes et des équipes en croissance.
Le projet comprend une démolition intérieure complète, suivie de l’installation de nouveaux systèmes mécaniques répondant aux normes actuelles. À mesure que les travaux avancent, l’espace se définit par de nouvelles finitions de murs et de planchers, du mobilier intégré sur mesure ainsi que l’installation de nouvelles portes et cadres, créant un environnement de bureau fonctionnel et contemporain.
Nous sommes ravis de collaborer à nouveau avec Solotech, un client fidèle, après la livraison réussie de leur siège social en 2025. Nous sommes également fiers de collaborer avec GKC Architecture, architecte principal du projet. Les conceptions mécaniques ont été réalisées en mode conception-construction, en s’appuyant sur l’expertise de nos corps de métier afin de répondre aux attentes du client.

VOLTIGE 4 | Winter Build Update ❄️
Winter conditions are in full effect, but progress continues across every level of the site. We are currently forming and preparing for the 4th floor concrete pour, while critical underground mechanical distribution is now underway to support future building systems.
Below grade, masonry work has begun in SS2, adding structure and definition to the space. At the same time, our excavation team has mobilized to the SS3 level, where trenching, new stone placement, and compaction are actively progressing.
Our plumbing team continues installing and connecting underground plumbing piping, coordinating closely with excavation and mechanical trades — all essential steps as we move toward the upcoming slab-on-grade pour.
Cold temperatures. Tight sequencing. No shortcuts.

Les conditions hivernales sont bien installées, mais l’avancement se poursuit à tous les niveaux du chantier. Nous sommes actuellement en coffrage et préparation pour la coulée de béton du 4e étage, tandis que la distribution mécanique souterraine essentielle est maintenant en cours afin de soutenir les futurs systèmes du bâtiment.
Sous le niveau du sol, les travaux de maçonnerie ont débuté en SS2, apportant structure et définition à l’espace. Parallèlement, notre équipe d’excavation s’est mobilisée au niveau SS3, où le creusage de tranchées, la mise en place de nouvelle pierre et le compactage progressent activement.
Notre équipe de plomberie poursuit l’installation et le raccordement de la tuyauterie souterraine, en étroite coordination avec les équipes d’excavation et de mécanique — des étapes essentielles en vue de la prochaine coulée de la dalle sur sol.

The project consists of two residential towers rising 33 and 36 storeys, supported by a 4-storey podium, three levels of townhomes, and four levels of below-grade parking, for a total of 692 suites.
Standout features include high-end resident amenity spaces built with a steel structure clad in curtain wall, allowing for expansive daylight and modern transparency. A shared-access strategy coordinated between three separate developments enables seamless resident circulation — a highly complex planning and execution effort.
Both towers are topped with mechanical penthouses clad in illuminated Kingspan insulated metal panels complete with surface mounted artwork transforming functional building systems into a night-time architectural and public art feature visible across the skyline.
