After eight years of living in Tucson, I will be moving to NYC in August. I am very grateful for everything and everyone I have known in Arizona where I have lived for my entire life and I am beyond excited to be enrolled in the New School's performer-composer program in the fall. This last week has been a blast seeing sights and hearing sounds and some really amazing music.
This week I am playing at Groundworks! With Austin band @littlemazarn and locals @compersionmusic and @jostudisco . Come thru for some soft folk music and some newish songs from me <3. Next week my band and @krygebandofficial will be playing a special joint improvisational set at Che's Lounge with guttertownofficial and @theeverduns / @goldenboots666 that's May 30th,,, and I'm going on tour in June!! Come one come all I am playing a solo set at Splinter Collective tonight! I'll be playing a few new songs and a special cover! Show starts at 7 PM and they have tickets at the door. I hope to see you. I went to La Rosa last night and people were falling out of their chairs because of the emotionally powerful William Basinski and also probably bad acid. He, as Emily mentioned several times, was so damn skinny.

My favorite freaks @gnoolietheband and @romolampkin will open the night at 7 PM and we'll have a special @yipee.state.university double bass set. but not the big one. like two bass guitars. it must be seen (heard) to be believed. The bennie c.t. set shall proceed as usual, although i fixed my compressor pedal hooray!
Knoxville you're beautiful girl. never change but actually get better i know you could. i had a lot of fun with friends there last weekend and i'm so grateful for my time listening to and seeing people play extraordinary music and grateful that I'm going to experience even more of it very soon. more on that later.
TWO WEEKS - Bennie C.T. is back on the chaise lounge. I'll be joined by post-indie troubadours @thetheyband and new alt country project @antlerisaband for their second show. We'll be playing some new songs as a trio! It's a late night show and FREE. I made this poster in five minutes plus the 25 I took to eff it up.
I'm hoping to have a CD at my shows soon, with all the music I've recorded since 2023. Hoping, but not currently working on it. Eventually! In the meantime, peruse this collection of erotic poems i've been working on.
My newest recording, "Modesty Influencer", is available on all streaming platforms as of this morning! I poured myself into 17 minutes of music and it made me crazy but I'm better off for that. So much thanks to my collaborators Eidan, JC, Colin, Lou, and Chris. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you for helping me produce the music that plays in my head at such a high fidelity.

The film was a commercial failure and sparked a decades long feud between the two actors, each of them blaming the other for the flop. 21 years later, against all the odds, they will join forces in the medium of music.

Hey. I need to tell you about some things I have going on, before they happen. In a week and a half my new band Wabbit (with @eidanschooks and @loogiequeen ) will have our second show! at pidgin palace with @alfredandthebreeders and @drone.body . it'll be special. idk take my word for it. trio packs a punch.
the real thing going on my life for the last month is that i've been recording the music to comprise my first medium play album. it's direct to digital for now, but on January 15th prepare to listen to 7 or 8 of the best Bennie C.T. songs I can comfortably record at this time. I'd say it's been 'thrilling', but it's more like 'revealing'.
Recording is a crazy thing because it forces you to make one thing of the infinite possibilities of a song, which in its pure idealogical form is not bound by commitment. Like childbirth, it's painful and what you love often comes out misshapen, but that doesn't mean you don't love it anyways. I'll have a release party for my album at Che's Lounge on January 15th. We'll be joined by Alfred and the Breeders as well as the Evil @krygebandofficial . I hear @mumblecore_protagonist could be making a final appearance. I guess you'll have to see.
If you know anyone who's looking to adopt two beautiful chow/heeler mixed brothers, let me know. Frankie and Johnny are looking for a home. They're a bonded pair, but great with the cat they live with and they live to cuddle. the cat misses his own space, for the record.
