This weekend! Taking that Borealis line 🚊🚞🚂 up to the good ol twin cities to send off @wickers_portal to his new life out west! I’m ripping a live set, and seeing if i can rock a party with my digitakt and roland sh-4d. Zach has been instrumental in getting me out of the box and playing around with these machines, so couldn’t be more fitting to indulge in this evening… i can’t thank him enough for the invite out. 🔥ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 5🔥 Chicago-based producer @relativity.lounge has made his mark across the North American festival and club circuit as an open-format DJ with a fresh, dancefloor-driven approach. A music maker first, his standout productions feature clever arrangements and a maximalist sound design that define his signature style. Driven by curiosity and an eclectic palette, he blends urban roots into a dynamic, high-fidelity sound. Through his Lake Effect Records imprint and Lake Effect Soundsystem, he continues pushing underground club culture into new spaces. @noshowcadillac is a self-proclaimed “shithouse folk” musician from the cornfields and smoke-filled bars of the Midwest. After a stint in punk bands and studying fingerstyle guitar at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, he dropped out and spent nearly a decade wandering the country. Those years shape his melodic ramblings today. You can find him playing anywhere from ditches and dive bars to festivals and theaters.
