Langport, North Moor (viaduct) tree planting 24/08/25
A really successful day on Langport moors, a great turn out meant we were able to plant 185 new trees and shrubs! replacing those that perished due to the dry summer

The process of planting the new olive tree in the church yard of Compton Dundon. We wouldn’t recommend planting old trees such as this one which has probably been taken and imported from an olive grove, However it was gifted to the village and we wanted to find it a good home… where better than between two crab apple trees 🌳 which were planted there 6 years ago to commemorate the soldiers of compton dundon who fought and died in the first and second world wars. We hope the olive tree can be a statement of peace, harmony and reconciliation ⭐️ #comptondundon #tree
