That kind of asymmetry can feel hypnotic. For example, you might group the 11 sixteenth notes like this: 2+2+2+2+3. The key question is how you group those 11 sixteenth notes. Listeners don’t perceive “11” as a single unit—they latch onto patterns. Composers like Béla Bartók and Igor Stravinsky used irregular meters in ways that still feel visceral and grounded—often by repeating accent patterns long enough for the listener to internalize them. **** 🎶✨Une signature rythmique très étrange !
