It feels so surreal still. I got to bring out so much of my own personality, work with incredible people, go to my first red carpet, my scene with @sadiesink_ being featured on The Tonight Show…it was the gift that KEEPS on giving. And, I had never seen my own hair styled this way, it was the coolest thing ever!!!

There was an accident that happened during the filming of this movie that I had heard about (was not a part of) so I just want to send my regards to those who were affected. Movie making is truly magical, really tough, and sometimes even dangerous. We do our best and grow from it so that we can keep creating!!!

I don’t know if any of you paint but for me it’s hella annoying to want to paint something for MONTHS, but then have to wait for that “itch” to hit in order to actually commit to it.
Per usual, the creative itch surges out of nowhere and then in the shortest possible amount of time, something cool is born.

No filter, just flyaways LOL
This career has ebbed and flows in ways I never imagined. Early on, I learned that I read as authoritative and commanding on camera so I worked hard to master those types of roles: reporter, military, etc and I loved it! As casting became more familiar with my work, I leaned into authentically being who I actually am as I evolve versus how THEY see me from the jump in auditions.
I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunities in the last year that show me it’s okay to keep being me and that the right things will come along. What isn’t a fit, wasn’t going to work out anyway. Who knew being yourself would be this freaking scary though!
I am trying to carry this into my personal life too.
PS. My hair finally grew back out and I’m gonna keep it this way!!!
PPS. I got recognized as Counselor Kelley from Stranger Things by random people and I’m so giddy!!
I forgot to share this! It's been a minute since I picked up my brush but I finally got another chance to do a commissioned painting. Sadly, I'm the type that has to have 1...2...maybe 3 glasses of red wine to execute such strokes but...I'm also not ashamed HAHAHAHA! (me laughing at myself LOL)
My experience painting has always been "wtf am I doing" to "holy shit where did that come from?"
Not sure if that's how other painters are but that's definitely my journey. Pretty Kitty!!!
