I’ve been teaching @benito.nopal ’s eco-literacy program. Today one of the teachers brought me a copy of a drawing one of her quiet preschoolers made. This is what came about after learning about worm composting one day and the roles of predators in the ecosystem during a previous lesson.
We’re so impressionable at a young age. To see that a quiet one was able to draw upon two different lessons from two different weeks is so cool! Though they might not always show it, it goes to show how much of a sponge kids are.
What a privilege it is to be able to teach kiddos about subjects connecting them back to the ecosystem, back to the Earth.
