REFLEKT 006: Radium Girl Launch Party. You read it right - on Friday February 20th, Reflekt returns to celebrate the launch of the all-new RAVISHING RADIUM GIRL comic. We’re returning to @aajamusic where Reflektors new and old make up our first 2026 line up. Expect high-energy house, romantic Italo and of course, some signature stone-cold electro. We’re delighted to say REFLEKT005 was a hit. New Reflektors @katya.wav and @dj_optik lead the way and kept the dance floor flying with their unique blends of futuristic electro and old-school techno. It’s been a while since we had an all-electro line up, and it felt truly special sharing a night of dark, romantic and ethereal electro with faces fresh and familiar. It was a busy weekend for everyone, so if you missed out, don’t sweat. The wait is finally over - REFLEKT005 arrives tomorrow. Last, but not certainily not least, we must introduce our final Reflektor for this edition - @peggs808 . As Reflekt’s founder and resident electro connessieur, Peggs’ passion and dedication for electronic music has built his well-earned rep in keeping South East London’s nightlife scene as vibrant as it is. He’s conquered the South East scene a few times over all while his repertoire and credits continue to bloom. Though his audiophilia has given him a mastery of all genres electronic, Peggs’ true love remains electro, whether it be Detroit, electro-funk, darkwave, electroclash. His passion for the genre is second to none, and you can hear it in ever track. Tomorrow, August 2nd, Peggs will bring his distinct sci-fi club sound to Avalon’s dancefloor to demonstrate the skill, knowledge and love of the game that makes Reflekt what it is. Reflekt co-runner and Detroit disciple Sidekick (a.k.a 113, a.k.a Jamesy) has been building momentum through playing a list of club nights and radio shows across London since he began last year. While originally focusing on ‘90s techno infused with electro, he’s developed an insatiable passion for the cybernetic sound, dystopian drums and cosmic kicks found only in raw Detroit electro. We are ecstatic to highlight our next powerhouse Reflektor slash electro selector, Katya. We’re going back to our roots, and couldn’t think of a DJ better to lead the way than Katya. Few DJs can capture the mysterious soundscape of electro, but Katya’s skill and natural attunement allow her to control it’s darker, romantic side while keeping the pace of the hard hitting hip-hop that created the genre in the first place. As a resident of The Cause, she continues to outdo herself in nearly every iconic club the city has to offer, through her hypnotic infusion of techno, EBM, and of course, electro. It’s time to release some artist bios for the fast-approaching REFLEKT005, and we’re coming out guns blazing with our first guest DJ Optik. Optik is a dedicated selector specializing in old school techno, house, ukg and electro, with a deep respect for vinyl culture and the roots of underground dance music. Known for seamless, precision mixing and long-form storytelling through records, Optik blends classic techno, familiar edits and raw, analog energy. Every set is a crafted journey—no gimmicks, just pure technique and timeless sound. We’ve been itching to have Optik debut at Reflekt, and this August 2nd we know we won’t be disappointed. What a weekend. We’re still reeling in from Saturday. We promised our biggest, baddest party yet, and you showed up and cut up that dance floor from start to finish. Saturday was everything we want Reflekt to be about. Friends new, old and yet to be, coming together as one to get down amongst our curated favourites in electronic talent. T-Rail, Truly, CK - we wanted you to headline REFLEKT004 because we knew how high we could set our expectations, and still, you blow us away. We cannot wait until you make London move again. You know you’ll see Peggs, SIDEKICK, and Vote4Pedro soon because we’re already cooking up our next evil Reflekt scheme, and trust us, it’s a doozy. It’s only 8 days to Reflekt004, and we are ecstatic. Our final artist spotlight made their debut this weekend last year at Reflekt001, so they’ll be celebrating a year with us along with our tantalising and titanic selectors. SIDEKICK, comprised of Reflekt alum James and faithful cohort Jake, hail from Ireland, though they’ve called London their home for nearly 3 years. In the year since they’ve formed, SIDEKICK have found a home within Reflekt, with shows in next week’s Avalon Cafe, AAJA, Voices and Brixton Radio, alongside a series of closers in Phantasmagoria. SIDEKICK’s electro / techno style relies on an old-school Detroit, bass-heavy sound, avoiding modern trends like hyperpop, and overusing effects, allowing the tracks to do the talking. Their adoration for rare ‘90s techno doesn’t limit their range, however; they’ve gained a name for themselves for their soft spot of French Touch, so groove remains an integral part of their performance.
